There's no upfront cost to become a creator on TasteTrade. We take a commission on each sale you make. The standard commission rate is 15%, meaning you keep 85% of each sale. Payment processing fees (approximately 2.9% + $0.30) are deducted separately.
You can sell original recipes, cooking tutorials, meal plans, and culinary guides. All content must be your own original work or properly licensed. We don't allow reselling of others' content, copyrighted material, or content that violates our community guidelines.
You have full control over your pricing. Recipes can be priced from $0.99 to $99.99. Consider factors like recipe complexity, unique techniques, included media (videos, photos), and what similar creators charge. You can also offer some recipes for free to attract followers.
Yes! From your Creator Dashboard, you can create discount codes, run sales, or bundle multiple recipes together at a reduced price. Promotional tools help you grow your audience and increase sales.
We implement several protections including watermarking, limiting previews, and monitoring for unauthorized sharing. Paid recipes are only fully visible to purchasers. If you find your content being shared without permission, report it through our DMCA process.
Engage with your followers, post consistently, respond to comments, and share diverse content. Use high-quality photos and videos. Cross-promote on social media. Participate in the community by commenting on other creators' work. Offer some free recipes to attract new followers.
For privacy reasons, you can see aggregate sales data but not individual purchaser identities. You can see the number of sales, total revenue, and general demographic information about your audience in your Creator Analytics.
You can deactivate your creator account at any time from Settings. Existing purchasers will retain access to recipes they've bought. You'll receive any outstanding earnings on the next payout date. Your free recipes will remain visible unless you delete them.
Yes! You can co-author recipes with other creators and split the revenue. Use the collaboration feature when creating a recipe to invite a co-creator. Both creators must agree to the revenue split before publishing.
Respond professionally to all feedback, including negative reviews. If a review violates our guidelines (harassment, spam, false claims), you can report it for review. Constructive criticism can help you improve. Focus on building positive relationships with your audience.
Our creator support team can help with account setup, content guidelines, and monetization questions.
